Alliance for Nonprofit Management

The Alliance provides leadership in enhancing a civil society by challenging and strengthening those who deliver management and governance support services to nonprofit organizations. Members include management support organizations (MSOs), individual professionals, and a range of national/regional, umbrella, research and academic, publishing and philanthropic organizations that provide technical assistance (training and consulting) to nonprofits.
The Alliance Resource Center includes hundreds of resources representing the work of hundreds of organizations working to help nonprofit agencies and nonprofit management support professionals manage their businesses more efficiently and effectively.

Regional Association of Grantmakers: Measuring Philanthropy's Effectiveness
Grantmakers are increasingly grappling with questions of what exactly has been accomplished with their funds, what impact the programs they have funded have had on social problems, and how their limited resources can be allocated to achieve the best results. RAGs, too, need to better understand and demonstrate their own impact. The Forum of RAGs works to enable RAGs to become resources for their members and regions on assessing and understanding the effectiveness and the impact of philanthropy.
